A. No, K-4 girls may  wear knee socks with jumpers throughout the year.

Q. Must my daughter wear tights throughout the entire year whenever she wears the uniform skirt?

A.  No, tights are worn with the skirts from October 15 through May 1 (fall/winter uniform).  The rest of the time knee socks may be worn with the skirts.  The dates will be strictly enforced.

Q.  What are the "mid rise slacks" for girls in grades 6,7 and 8?

A.  The new mid rise slacks are especially designed for teen and preteen girls.  They are the same slacks worn in many of the high schools.

A.  Yes, but only with the summer navy shorts.

Q.  Can the boys wear navy cargo shorts for the summer uniform?

A.  Boys must wear uniform navy shorts.  Cargo shorts are not permitted.

Q.  French Toast discontinued the uniform skort for girls. What is the alternative??

A.   French Toast now carries a "scooter" that replaced the skort. In addition, skorts are available at Flynn & O'Hara and Land's End. All of these options are acceptable.

Q.  If the skirt has shorts attached are knee socks allowed?

A.  Skirts with shorts attached are called "scooters" or "skorts", and knee socks are allowed.

Q.  If the skirt is worn with shorts that are not part of the skirt, can knee socks be worn instead of tights?

A.  No.

Q.  Do school shoes have to be purchased at Flynn and O'Hara or Landsend?

A.  No.  As long as the shoes follow the uniform guidelines they do not have to be purchased at those stores.  The most important factor is that they are ALL BLACK.... absolutley not logos or any white or color markings of any kind.
