Dear Parents:

 Welcome to the final year of elementary school for your son/daughter. We hope that we all enjoy sharing in this fun and exciting time in their lives.

 Please be advised that all homework will be posted on the web site.  Students are encouraged to write their homework assignments in their homework assignment books at the end of each class.  This will be particularly helpful when they collect their books at the end of the day.

 Sweatshirts for the students will be given out in October when the weather warrants them.  We will have the students look at samples so that they can determine the size that they wish to order. They will also be allowed to choose color and lettering. This year the sweatshirts have been donated, but if you wish to order an extra one for your son/daughter the dollar amount will be sent to you. Students are expected to wear their sweatshirts as part of their uniform so there should not be colored shirts coming out from under the sweatshirts or showing above the collar.  It is very important that 8th grade students follow the uniform rules since they are examples to all the younger students.

Prayer partners will be assigned in October.  8A is paired off with KA and 8B will be paired off with KB. The 8th grade teachers get together with the Kindergarten teachers and carefully consider how to create the best pairing.  You will receive more information as we approach this time.

  We will take care of High School Application forms.  You will receive a notice from us advising about the the time and place of test.  Please keep up with messages on the web site.
